Fruit Cobbler

 

Ingredients

2/3 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup milk
1/2 stick butter or margarine
2 cups sweetened fruit (fresh peaches or blueberries)

Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together.  Add sugar.  Stir in just enough milt to remove lumps.  Melt margarine in Pyrex dish.  Pour batter into center of dish.  Spoon fruit into center of batter.  Do not stir.  Bake at 350 degrees until cobbler has risen and is lightly browned.
